There are currently more than 800 Lions International Districts around the world. 15 districts of Nepal are also one of them. For playing an excellent role in the mission of Lions International, District 325 “K” Nepal, among the districts of Nepal, has succeeded in doing excellent work under the leadership of women rather than opening many clubs, and has registered its name as a women-friendly district in the world. Lions International has started as ‘Mission 1.5’ since July this year.

With the belief that the more members there are, the more services can be provided, Lions has started this mission in accordance with the ambitious plan to add 1.5 million members. In Nepal too, it has been working according to the concept of ‘more and more service’. Even by doing social work, Lions District of Nepal has come ahead of other districts in the world on the basis of service and reporting. This is a pleasant aspect.

However, Lions give more priority to service, along with the expansion of membership, the activities done by the Lions Club of Nepal have also proved to be excellent. It is a very good thing that a country like ours can speed up fund raising. Apart from that, in such a small country, in the history of 52 years, Nepal’s districts have surpassed other big and powerful countries in the top 5. It is a matter of pregnancy. Most of the Lions Clubs opened in Nepal have taken the country as the first priority and then the Lions only.

District 325 K Nepal, which carries the slogan of “Lead to Change” to protect the old clubs from being dropped and to protect the slogan of Lions International, has been seen as exemplary.

More than 1.4 million members of Lions around the world have been able to identify Nepal as the best. If we look at the latest figures, there are more than 2200 clubs in 15 districts in Nepal and the tireless work of 44 thousand 500 members under them, it has succeeded in keeping its name along with its service-oriented hand. It is not only the role of any club and district. It has been made possible by the team.

of the district, the activity of the entire club and the support and cooperation of the district team rather than the efforts of any district alone. In terms of achievements, this is a big leap for Nepal.

Many clubs are becoming the best here. The district governor’s activism and parenting have encouraged us to be active. Nepal’s leadership of District 325 “K” Nepal is female friendly. In this district, along with Governor Suchitra Thapa, First Vice Governor Nira Bajracharya and Treasurer Durga Dhakal are exemplary characters.

District 325 K, which has gained fame as the mother district of International Director Balkrishna Burlakoti, who was recently elected, is seen to be very active among the 15 existing districts in Nepal. Currently, 156 clubs are operating under this district. Similarly, these clubs currently have around 3700 members. With the establishment of a new club, members are also being added. Women’s hands with women to build their own Lions building, Kriyashil District has also collected and distributed financial support on behalf of its district in addition to relief materials due to the loss of property due to the recent earthquake in Jajarkot-Rukum.

District 325 I was declared the best district in the world after opening many clubs in the last four months, but District 325 “K” Nepal, which carries the slogan of “Lead to Change” to protect old clubs from dropping and to protect the slogan of Lions International, has been seen as exemplary. However, District 325 “K” Nepal is not only making the old members of the club active, but is also developing every club that has been opened in the past as a model women’s club. As a result of which Governor Suchitra Thapa has been providing leadership not only to himself but also to the clubs in the entire district.

In Nepal, the number of people who write lions in front of their names and wear yellow jackets is increasing day by day. Nepali people are being active under the umbrella of Lions to do some social service and write their names.

However, Lions is also a common organization full of diversity. It does not cover only one subject. Where there is a need, there is a problem, Lions work there. That’s why it is said that “wherever” there is a need, there are “lions” friends who have succeeded

in leaving a lasting impression on the community by constantly participating in Lions, and also by being close to people with a beautiful mind and positive thinking who involve themselves in social work despite any situation and the work done by fellow Lions like themselves. The chest swells with pride when hearing the news that the entire Lions have been praised.

After joining the Lions, I realized that its 106-year history would not continue. 1.4 million Lions are no longer members. Lions is known as an international organization that does social work. But not only that, I understand that Lions is an important platform for leadership development as well as fellowship. There is a large group of people who not only do social work but also join Lions for leadership development and fellowship. The joy of working in the Lions Club, the positive changes in myself due to leadership development and fellowship, and the joy of hearing others talk about me now.

The bigger the organization, the more negative things come along with positive things about it. That is also natural. It is rare to find an international organization with so many members and a long history. Lions is a disciplined organization. Sometimes the negative news that comes in the media is unpleasant for those of us who work in the community and work spontaneously as public volunteers. We have gained many experiences after spending more than a decade in Lions. We are also inviting family members and close friends to this organization as we feel good about it.

Lions, in mutual coordination, together with the friends of the club, meet the needs and do service work in the places where they are needed. It is only for self-esteem and self-satisfaction. Apart from this, after joining this international organization, we should take it as a model of the democratic system to awaken the will to lead it and the passion for that. Overall, I feel proud to be a Lions. The social service done by engaging in it, the self-satisfaction and self-esteem gained from it motivates the mind to do other things by engaging in Lions.
